Scooters

Scooters, is no longer a new term to the people. Unlike the traditional motorbike, a scooter is something smaller, but with a step-through frame and a flat floorboard for the riders to place their feet. Most scooters have smaller engines than the usual motorbikes, with anything from 30cc to 250cc.

Scooter is very popular among the students, as it is much easier to ride than a motorbike. Most of all, it looks as cute as a sheep and easier for first timer to balance on it. You need not use much strength to start the scooter or balance it very hard. Many college students buy it as their own transportation to colleges, or to fetch girls. It does not cost a bomb, and is very practical. Apparently, it is very convenient for daily use and near distance use.

I still remember my first time riding a bicycle, it took me an arm and a leg to learn. I did not have a tricycle to practice as a start. I went on a two-wheeled bicycle instead. And I fell on the ground for endless time before I found the trick of balancing myself. It really was not an easy task for me as I learnt it on my own, without any guidance. And later, my parents finally allowed me to ride on a motorbike when they knew I would not fall down from a two-wheeled vehicle anymore.

But few years ago, scooters became very famous and popular among my friends. Some of them even received scooters as their birthday present. I was really envy of them. I fell in love with scooter ever since my first ride on my friend’s scooter. It looks pretty cool to ride on it and tour around the town. The flat floorboard is very comfortable for my legs unlike the traditional bikes which you have to sort of hang both of your legs. Now, even my sisters like scooters too!
