Happy Thaipusam

Being a Malaysian, I am quite ashame of myself for the fact that I know nothing much about Thaipusam and what is the meaning behind. However, although it is supposed to be a day celebrated by the Indians, why aren't some of them celebrating? I wonder. Thanks to our PM, for the first year, it is announced as a public holiday for the Federal state. Good news indeed.
