Silver has always been the primary monetary metal through out all our history. There are strong reasons why do we use silver primarily, silver is durable, divisible and convenient, and its value is irreplaceable. Besides that, silver can also be used in medical field, 'silver bullet' is used for preventing bacterial infections in burn victims.
