Job Hunt 2

Job Hunt is not easy, regardless of the pay or job u plan to apply for, there are frauds and scams everywhere. Those companies exist, growing like mushrooms. I,myself, believe i almost became one of the victims-to-be for those fraudulent company. I went for an interview at the company named J** Group, and its a subsidiary company of the famous COB*A International. The office is located in jalan yap kwan seng, kl. The office is also nicely furnished and looks so professional i must say. I was totally ignorant about the scam, they have a grand name for the vacancy called Managerial Executive Program. WIth all the benefits they "offer" u, it really seemed like a "damn how can i not apply" post.

So, after the interview, i met up with some frens. Lucky enough, i mentioned about the interview i went and they were kind enough to tell me that it is actually a scam, like direct selling company, ask u to sell disney biscuits or coupons. So, i called to reject the 2nd interview. So, people, please beware of the frauds and scams!

Job Hunt 1

Finally, I have gotten the spirits to start my job hunting. I have a pile of classifieds from singapore's papers. I spent some hours browsing through it, sadly, only few jobs caught my attention. This is the 3rd day I sent out my application, but, no news from them :( Now i have realised the toughness of hunting. Maybe my art of hunting needs to be sharpened up.

I think it is important to always attach a cover letter together with your resume. It is stupid to send out a cover letter that is not tailored to the specific company. For example, you have used the cover letter for company XYZ and please be rememberd to change the content ( company name, post you're applying for, your skills to match the job .etc ) when you want to apply for the next job. Imagine how the person react when the cover letter its not meant for the company! So better spend some time on it, google it.... or whatever.

Good luck to myself!
