Counting Down

My last week of freedom :(
Say baibai to 10am, set alarm at 7am.

I should be happy since I don't have to seek for jobs anymore after so many devastating experience? I think I will have a lot to rant when I start work.

Anyone cares to share tips on how to wake up early when I have been waking up late for the past whole year?

Another Interview

Although I have finally landed myself a job, but, I still went for an interview today, to reload my experience, in a local oil&exploration company. I did not expect any technical questions since my agent told me it would only be a chat up only. For the first time, I did not feel nervous at all! :D

To my surprise, they asked me few questions:

- About WIFI, software & hardware
- Basic PC troubleshooting, blue screen... etc
- Blackberry

Yarh.. you know.. blackberry.. luckily I did not say things like.. "oh...blackberry.. i think it's bitter".

Haha actually I was asked about the technology behind BlackBerry, but, I do not know. So I only answered something like it's a smartphone. Other than these, only the regulars were asked.

However, since I have accepted the job offer earlier, I told my agent that I want to be withdrawn. But, if any of you are interested to work, or currently looking for a job, leave a message here. :D

Dillema

When you can't find a job, you feel depressed and lost. When you have job offers, you have dillema.

Following up my Interview C, it's actually from a reputable local insurance company. They called me today and offered me the job. Until now, I can't decided which one to pick.

How do you measure the advatanges? Company size? Job nature? Dillema. Do you get a job you like? Or.. you pick a job on its company size and chances to be promoted.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in web system development is an advantage
• Skills: PHP, ASP, VB, JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, XML, C, C++
• Databases: MYSQL, MS SQL,ORACLE
• Tools: MACROMEDIA DREAMWEAVER, VISUAL STUDIO
• Others: Database tuning and optimizing, Linux platform, Apache, high-end server experience is a plus but not a must
• Posses at least diploma in IT related course

Anyone interested in the following position? Do drop me a comment. The agent called me earlier and ask if I was interested, and asked me if there is any of my friends who might be interested. I heard it's a position for an MNC company, located in Klang Valley I think. I do not know further details though.

The Waiting Anciety

I thought I would start working tomorrow, but have it delayed until June.
Gosh, I am actually feeling nervous. I do not what to expect at the new place.

New company means I will be having colleagues, having people working around me, having people to work with. Having lunch partners, etc. I wonder how is it like. If you had not known, I used to have a SOHO style of working life.

I have been talking to a going-to-be-my colleague girl recently, I asked her if it's fun to work there, and she said... "fun is very subjective". Duh, but I think this line sounds funnily cool.

I guess, it will be my adventure to find out more! Stay tuned!

Finally I Am Employed!

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood newssssssss everyone!

Me, proudly announced that, I am finally and proudly employed now!

This chance came by luck, it's through my blog, www.prettybeautiful.net, I was granted an interview with a local beauty equipment/cosmetics company. :D :D :D I'm very happy, at least I can do something that is related to my interests now. I am hired as a webmaster/content writer, will also be doing design and stuff. I am starting to work on next Monday. Of course, I will still keep here updated from time to time.

About the interview, this interview was the most relaxing one. I was not asked nor tested on anything at all, not even filling up my particulars. Some employers will use magnifying glass to see your certs, results, and scrutinize every damn thing. But this time, I only had to show my resume and the interviewer just browsed through my blogs. Easy and relaxing interview, lucky me. :D
