Money Mastermind
In the modern days, women hold equally important society status as the men do, women do contribute financial assistance to the families as much as men now. As more women are climbing up the corporate ladder, women should also know how to control and manage their wealth.
Press Release:
The Wealth Spa Teach Women Financial Independence in New Program
The Money Mastermind is a membership program that provides financial education and coaching for women and enables them to take control of their finances.
San Jose, CA June 8, 2007: Elizabeth Potts Weinstein, CFP®, JD, a Certified Financial PlannerTM practitioner and attorney, recently launched the Money Mastermind, a membership program enabling women to get cutting edge, independent financial planning advice for an affordable monthly fee.
The Wealth Spa, Weinstein's financial planning firm, has offered fee-only financial planning as flat-rate projects and hourly-only advice since 2004. In 2007, Weinstein launched the Money Mastermind program because she wanted to help women address the two most important aspects of financial planning in a cost effective program.
"First, clients need ongoing advice about their money, but cannot afford expensive retainer agreements or asset under management (AUM). Hourly and project-based fee-only financial planning, while affordable, do not directly provide ongoing advice. Second, my female clients want to learn about investing and personal finance. They don't want to just be told what to do," said Weinstein.
In the Money Mastermind program, members get unlimited email advice directly from Weinstein to address issues such as how to reallocate a 401(k), whether cash should be used to pay off debt or invest for retirement, and how to better manage the family budget. The monthly educational programs, held by teleconference, cover subjects such as "How to Avoid the Top 7 Mutual Fund Mistakes" and "How to Combat Investment Risk."
Members also receive access to an online community forum, to share information and advice with other members, and access to Weinstein's investment recommendations, tax updates, investment software, and goal projection software. The program currently costs $47 per month, but has a three-month trial membership for $9.97, for a limited time.
Women make up most of the membership, who, according to Weinstein, are "attracted to the educational aspects and want to work with a female advisor." Members also include married couples, same-sex couples, and singles.
