Hungry Ghost Festival

Today, as the lunar calendar marks this day as the july 14th, which is also a day feared by the Chinese, also known as the Hungry Ghost Festival.

It's said that, on this day, the ghosts from the nether world will come out from their world and wander around in our world. It's their day and they are the kings!

Some of the people pray and offer on this day, as a respect to the souls. The offerings are usually food, and 'money'.
